Christo first became interested in dance while studying Theater at the University of South Florida. Soon, Christo threw himself headfirst into the study of ballet under the expert tutelage of Gretchen Ward Warren, and at the prestigious Nutmeg School of Ballet. Soon afterwards, Christo began dancing professionally for companies such as Bay Ballet Theatre, and the Sarasota Ballet.
Upon retiring from dance, Christo followed another dream - to become a movie director, which brought him to Los Angeles. A veteran writer and director of four full-length, independent movies and over 40 TV series such as Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, The Simple Life, Making the Band, Road Rules and Growing up Gotti. Christo is now combining his love of ballet with the art of movie making. |
